The Journey of Get Groomed | Mobile Barbers – From Humble Beginnings to Becoming a Developing Force in the Industry.

Founded by Giuliano Dore and Sabrina Vijaykumar in London back in 2017, Get Groomed | Mobile Barbers began as a small venture in a Whitechapel flat. Sabrina, an enthusiast of at-home beauty services, brought the initial idea to the table. The concept was further fueled by Giuliano's (pronounced Ji-u-li-a-no) need for high-quality barbering that can fit into his busy schedule.

After conducting in-depth market research and establishing a strong network of talented barbers, the duo launched a service model. Instantaneously, it was met with an outpouring of enthusiastic acceptance. Intrinsically tying convenience, excellence and professionalism, their business model swiftly gained popularity, pouring in bookings.

Under the mantra 'Your style. Your place. Your time.', Get Groomed | Mobile Barbers began expanding its services beyond individual clients to corporate offices, hotels, wedding events and promotional activities. Our commitment was - and continues to be - delivering a premium barbering experience to our clients. We focused on tailoring our services to meet our customers’ unique styles, at places and times that suit them best.

Our dedication to connecting professional mobile barbers with local clients led us to great industry recognition. In 2018, we were honored with 'The Best Emerging Barber Brand' by The National Hair and Barber Awards. This momentous achievement was closely followed by a 'Best Innovation of the Year' award for both the UK and Europe by MoneyGram in 2019.

Yet, like countless businesses worldwide, we faced unprecedented challenges when the Covid pandemic hit in early 2020. Our plans to go public via a Crowdcube crowdfunding campaign were regrettably shelved. We complied with the governmental regulations during the crisis, suspending our operations, and bracing for better times. Only in 2022, we resumed our services following the permission to relaunch beauty practices.

As we ventured into 2023, we witnessed how the economic downturn and cost of living crisis affected companies across the UK. Despite numerous sister companies shutting their operations, Get Groomed | Mobile Barbers persevered through the tough times steadily, continually expanding our team of barbers, particularly in the Birmingham and Manchester regions.
